From the team behind Secret World of Sound with David Attenborough and Attenborough and the Giant Elephant, a new TV series takes to the skies to show a different perspective on animal behaviour.

Airborne, available on Sky TV and produced by Humble Bee Films, showcases the Earth's ultimate aeronauts: from parachuting Japanese squirrels to a goshawk navigating dense woodlands in high-speed pursuit of prey.

With the help of specialist camera teams and the latest filming technology, Airborne details the unique challenges and freedoms of animals that use the air to survive and thrive.

Narrated by film and TV star Keeley Hawes, the series brings us up close to the animals that defy gravity. We take a look at some breathtaking moments below.
