The BBC has shown us plenty of extraordinary wildlife behaviour on our screens – and now two new Youtube series are taking us behind the lens.
Premiering on the BBC Earth and BBC Earth Explore channels, In Search of Nature and Framed in Nature feature the unique perspectives of six incredible photographers from around the globe.
The In Search of Nature series will launch two weekly episodes, showcasing diverse landscapes and wildlife through talented photographers and videographers. From the snowy tundra of Yellowstone National Park to the underwater worlds in a Kenyan Marine Park, we follow their journey in capturing stunning scenes in these awe-inspiring locations.
Companion series Framed in Nature consists of six episodes, which delve into the technical aspects of wildlife photography. While it covers camera equipment, settings and editing, both budding smartphone users and more experienced photographers will pick up expert advice that they can use in their local areas.
Chris Allen, head of development at BBC studios Digital Brands says: “In today’s changing world, we are proud to celebrate and spotlight a new generation of photographers who are capturing the beauty of their local wildlife and recognise the importance of preserving and sharing it with the world. Their work offers a striking glimpse into the incredible diversity of global wildlife and the unique techniques that drive their craft.”
