In a pan, melt some lard or suet. Stir in a mixture of birdseed, raisins, oats, and breadcrumbs.

Make a hole in a yoghurt pot, thread it with string and knot it. Pack in the mixture.

Leave the mixture to set overnight, then carefully cut the pot away from the hardened mix.
