Marine Stewardship Council (MSC)
International non-profit organisation
The Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) is an international non-profit organisation aiming to end overfishing. During the last 20+ years through our ecolabel and certification program, more than 400 wild-caught fisheries spanning 53 countries have been certified to the MSC’s scientific and environmentally sustainable fishing Standards. We aim to contribute to the health of the world’s oceans by rewarding and recognising sustainable fishing practices and by helping people to make more sustainable choices when buying seafood. We want future generations to be able to enjoy seafood and oceans full of life, forever.
